I am registered to attend American Society On Aging (ASA), 2020 Aging in America (AiA) Conference:

As an ASA Leadership Institute Participant, the education enrichment will help to:

ENRICH my knowledge to continue to expand our upcoming 2020 social wellness programs for the elderly and caregivers.

MAKE connections with others who are working to make the world a better place for older adults to remain in the community (known as aging in place).

REFRESH my knowledge and learn from some of the most respected leaders and my peers in the field of aging, and the opportunity to take replicable practices to continue to expand our social wellness program and continue to educate, engage and empower the elderly and family caregivers through cultivating character development; social engagement; and utilizing their talents in the arts of comedy, music, poetry and drama.

STAY current and understand new models and languages of aging, and the new ways of preparing for elderly services during the multiple changes in our society.

RECHARGE, energize and rejuvenate my spirit and gain new perspectives in supporting the needs of older adults in a naturally occurring community, where people are aging in place.

EARN Continuing Education Credits.

Mind-Body-Soul Connection LLC inception five years ago, is influence by a God-given vision and passion for serving older adults and their caregivers, with the focus of culture and talents in the arts.  We have served 920 older adults and caregivers in the last four years through our Silver Citizens Social Wellness Programs (SCSWP); to broaden the perspectives of aging in place and enjoying a better quality of life among older adults.  Our SCSWP is inherently unique that helps older adults and caregivers to have great impact on one another and maintain a sense of purpose to build and restore relationships.  The high impact of our social wellness program is with and through organizations and volunteers outside myself to create more impact in the community than I ever could have achieved alone.  We will continue to maintain a sense of community connections through collaborative partnership with Edna Martin Christian Center with financial support from community partners, grants, sponsorships and in-kind donations and services.  We are hoping to be able to provide honorarium to our guest presenters, entertainers and volunteers which I have not been able to provide currently.

I believe the greatest benefit is education enrichment, networking and collaboration.   Can you please help make 2020 AiA Conference experiences possible for expanding my knowledge in empowering older adults to live this stage of life with optimism, hope and dignity with your gift for my 2020 Aging In America Conference expenses?

We have a collaborative partnership with Edna Martin Christian Center; they are a community service organization who serves the low-income elderly population in the Martindale-Brightwood naturally occurring retirement community (NORC), where people are aging in place in Indianapolis, IN.
